Python 언어의 기본 문법을 익혀 기본적인 코딩을 능력을 기른다. Python 프로그래밍에서 필요한 기초적인 변수, 연산, 문자열, 조건문, 반복문, 함수, 클래스 등을 학습한다. Python을 이용하여 데이터를 분석하고 시각화하는 데 필요한 라이브러를 학습한다.
